A message from the publisher
In the spring of 2000, the NMLRA withdrew support for Muzzle Blasts Online and the electronic publication ceased adding content.
One of the founder's and current owner has chosen, at his personal expense, to maintain the content for the benefit of the blackpowder community.
Please enjoy.
Editor's Welcome
Our thanks to Kathy Butt, Portland, TN for the fine cover photo for this months issue. Kathy is a muzzleloading hunter and guide, as well as an accomplished photographer.
Welcome to the February/March 1998 edition of Muzzle Blasts Online. We have several good articles for you this issue. Doc Carlson reviews the new Hatfield Kentucky rifle, Luke Clayton takes us on a spring turkey hunt, and John Woolfolk explores the contents of his shooting pouch. The 1998 Rendezvous schedule is included in this issue. Look for website address for some of the rendezvous where you can get up to the event information on the events as well as a look at some photos from last year's rendezvous.
